A rental operations platform split across two audiences: a customer-facing ordering and payment flow, and a back-office dashboard for orders, scheduling, and container inventory.
The Challenge
Equipment rental businesses juggle three things at once — which containers are available, where they physically are, and who has paid. Handled manually, double-bookings and stranded inventory are routine.
The Solution
Container availability is modeled against the delivery schedule, so the booking flow can only offer what is genuinely free on a given date. Business logic lives close to the data in PL/pgSQL where correctness matters most, with the ordering and admin surfaces built in Next.js.
